About Us

Hando Kim

Business Development
Hando Kim is both the founder of Innometive and a co-founder and co-inventor of Guidance Dental Systems (GDS), a subsidiary of Innometive. GDS is a micro-CT based dental imaging company that is establishing new standards for dental implant imaging in order to improve the efficiency and dental care to patients. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA degree from Yale University.

Jonathan Hopkins

Science Advisor
Jonathan Hopkins is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the director of the Flexible Research Group, conducting research towards enabling the design and fabrication of advanced flexible structures, mechanisms, and materials. In addition to creating the internationally recognized Freedom and Constraint Topologies (FACT) methodology, his accolades earned him the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers award. He holds Bachelor of Science, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Armin Pomeroy

Senior Researcher
Armin Pomeroy is a graduate researcher and Ph.D. candidate of the Flexible Research Group, led by Dr. Jonathan Hopkins at UCLA, focused on the design, optimization, and analysis of medical implant technology utilizing compliant mechanism concepts to achieve unique mechanical properties. Prior to joining the Flexible Research Group, Armin earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from UCLA in 2019, working as a researcher for the Bionics Lab and the Nano Transport Research Group.

Stephen Ju

Advisory Board
Stephen Ju is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse with equity research coverage of the Internet and Online Game sector. Stephen joined Credit Suisse in 2011 and prior to this he covered the Internet sector 2005 to 2010 and the Online Games sector from 2002 to 2004 at RBC Capital Markets. Stephen received a BA in astrophysics from the University of California at Berkeley and a MBA from the Yale School of Management.

Dr. John Lee

Medical Consultant
Dr. John J.W. Lee is both a board-certified ophthalmologist and a fellowship trained Oculoplastic Surgeon practicing in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Lee completed his ophthalmology residency and then went on to complete an ASOPRS (American Society of Ophthalmic / Eyelid Plastic Surgeon & Reconstructive Surgeons) fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr Lee has a BA from Johns Hopkins University and a MD from Albany Medical College.

Dr. Stuart Green

Medical Consultant
Dr. Stuart Green is an orthopaedic surgeon whose subspecialty interest deals with post-trauma limb reconstruction and is an acknowledged authority on Medical Ethics related to musculoskeletal care. His extensive expertise contributes to his publishing of four books, numerous chapters, and 150 articles in medical journals. Dr. Green was instrumental in introducing the Ilizarov Method of reconstructive surgery to the world's orthopaedic surgeons. He co-invented and patented the Precice Internal Self-Lengthening Intramedullary Nail with Ellipse Technologies, which was then acquired by NuVasive. He remains as the Medical Director of the Precice Division of NuVasive NSO.

Andy Yeung

Advisory Board
Mr. Andy Yeung has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Yum China since October 2019. Prior to joining Yum China, Mr. Yeung served as the CFO of Smart Finance International Limited. Previously, he served as the CFO of Cheetah Mobile Inc. Mr. Yeung has also worked as a director for Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., responsible for research coverage of the TMT sector in China. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. He holds B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA degree from Yale University.

Aris Tagle

Aris Tagle is currently the V.P. of Analytics at Publicis Imagine, a leading media agency based in Los Angeles. Aris has held leadership roles in digital marketing, media, analytics, and strategy on both the client and agency sides of the business. He has worked with leading brands across a variety of industries, including Hulu, Lexus, PIMCO, Cathay Pacific Airlines, Wilson Sporting Goods, Sheraton, Herbalife, and AT&T. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, and an MBA from Yale University.

Warren Kim

Warren Kim is the CIO of Guidance Dental Systems (GDS), Head of Product for Cyclonix Inc., a software consulting firm specializing in container-based microservice architectures for the industrial sector, and a Senior Systems Engineer at Falkonry Inc., an AI startup specializing in automated machine learning. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis.
